In a serendipitous twist of fate, Alain and Kirsten's paths converged unexpectedly in Durban, the 23rd of May, 2021. Captivated by the graceful presence of a tall and enchanting woman, Alain's curiosity was piqued. Employing a clever ruse, he orchestrated Storm's playful quest for hot chocolate, a seemingly simple act that would unveil Kirsten's innate generosity and warmth.
With his heart emboldened, Alain stepped forward, sparking a conversation that flowed effortlessly, every word tailored to perfection, and every moment etched in their memories. As the encounter drew to a close, a courageous question hung in the air – a date request which sparked the beginnings of a journey of shared moments, laughter and happiness.
A journey that could not be stopped by the 600km between them, COVID and looting… Proof that distance, disease and even complete lawlessness could not stand in the way of their love.
